Did You Know that Sharks are in trouble….

….resulting in shrinking shark populations all over the world? Sharks have been swimming since before dinosaurs but they are seeing too many threats today. The United Nations estimates that half of shark species have suffered serious declines in populations. The IUCN estimates that almost one third of all species of shark and rays are in danger of extinction.

  • Overfishing

  • Global Warming

  • Shrinking Habitats

  • Pollution

  • Finning

In order to stop this, it takes a lot more Education, Dedicated Sanctuaries, Protected Waters, Legislation, and a greater Appreciation of Sharks.
