Did You Know that the you can swim with Whale Sharks in Atlanta….

….at the Ocean Voyager exhibit at the Georgia Aquarium, the third largest aquarium in the world? The Ocean Voyager exhibit, which holds over 6 million gallons of water, is home to gentle sea giants including whale sharks, manta rays, grouper, and thousands of fish.

The diet of the Whale Sharks consists of zooplankton, specifically sergestid shrimps, fish eggs, krill, jellies, copepods, coral spawn, sardines, anchovies, and more. Whale Sharks can only swallow small prey because their esophagus is only a few inches wide.
