Did You Know that you can swim at the “Island of Sharks” with Hundreds of Sharks….

.….at Cocos Island in Costa Rica? It is one of the few areas in the world where one can observe great abundance of several species of sharks including the largest gatherings of Hammerhead Sharks in the world.

Schools of Scalloped Hammerhead Sharks frequent the island throughout the year, especially during the wet season from June through October.

These schools frequent the top 40 meters of water. Their behavior is considered non-threatening, allowing close encounters.
